Lenses and Filters
For close range measurements (<50m for Classical HySpex and <20m for Mjolnir cameras), a close-up lens is required.
To maintain the optical performance of the cameras, dedicated close-up lenses are required. These are easily mounted on the HySpex camera.
For Mjolnir, 1m working distance/20° FOV lenses are available.
For HySpex Classic, close-up lenses are available for a working distance of a few cm, giving up to 24µm resolution for VNIR-1800, 53µm for SWIR-384 and 32µm for SWIR-640 , and up to 50m working distance. The main lens specifications are given in the table below for VNIR-1800, SWIR-384 and SWIR-640:
