VNIR Equalization Filer
When acquiring images in sun illuminated scenes, the exposure is governed by the wavelength range 500 to 700 nm rendering, in many cases, the wavelengths at the edges of the VNIR range underexposed.
The objective of the equalization filter is to suppress the radiation at the wavelengths where sun radiation is strongest and the camera sensitivity is highest.
The equalisation filter is customized for the VNIR-1600 total system response.
