HySpex Field System
Field Computer
The HySpex systems can be
operated from most modern desktop computers (potentially at limited
speed), so it is not a requirement to order a dedicated computer
with the camera. A customized high performance desktop or laptop
computer can however be supplied to ensure the fastest possible data
rates.
If ordered together with the HySpex system, the
computer will be completely assembled and all necessary software and
drivers (for e.g. camera, scanning stage) as well as hardware (e.g.
frame grabber) will be installed and correctly configured on the
computer.
Due to rapid improvements in computer technology,
the specific computer components (processor, memory, HD, etc.) and
specifications will be decided closer to the delivery time of the
camera to ensure that the latest and most suitable technology is
used.
In case of special customer requirements (e.g. very large storage
capacity or need for data acquisition from several cameras at a
time) customized solutions can be supplied.
