Stabilized Mounts
The Leica PAV80 is a gyrostabilized mount used in NEO's high-end airborne systems. The purpose of this platform is to support the aerial equipment and to compensate for the rotations (roll, pitch, and yaw movements) of the airplane during photo runs. It is a Gyro-Stabilized Mount for a dynamic stabilization of the equipment.
As a less expensive alternative to the gyrostabilized mount, NEO offers a passively damped mount.
